Making things for the web

Why us?

We’re good people to work with

Strong sites are built on strong relationships, so we really cherish the rapport we’ve developed over the years with our clients, like Penguin Books, and our agencies, like The Workroom. In such a competitive industry, we pride ourselves on the fact that most of our work comes through word of mouth.

We’re small enough to be responsive

We like to get on with things and keep bureaucracy to a minimum. Our hands-on approach, where you work directly with the people creating and developing your project, means we can meet your needs faster and more cost-effectively.

... but big enough to be reliable

Our experienced team deliver to time and to budget and we don’t cut and run once a project’s finished. You’ll work with the same people throughout, which means we get to know you and your project really well. And if it grows over time, as digital projects often do, you can turn to someone you know and trust.

Our business focus wins awards

Our blogapenguinclassic.co.uk website just picked up an NMA Award for Effectiveness, which we can add to the British Books Awards Award for Innovation in the Book Business and the Revolution Award for Best Brand Building Using Digital Channels which we won for our Remixed and Podcast sites for Penguin Books.

We’re London based

Our East London studio is 10 minutes walk from Bethnal Green tube station on the Central Line, so we can get to meetings in Central London really quickly and are within 30 minutes of all the main train terminals and City Airport.

We know our stuff

We’ve broad experience across all the usual technology and development practices, but we’re not interested in being a jack of all trades. Our core specialities are:
  • Microsoft .NET (ASP.NET, C#, etc)
  • PHP
  • Microsoft SQL Server
  • MySQL
  • IIS
  • Apache
  • Adobe Flash / ActionScript
