Meet the industrialists

Jon Gedny

JonAlthough Jon went to art school, the lure of the web proved too much for him and before he knew it, he was a Web Designer. The internet has moved on since his early Geocities experiments and Jon now has over 15 years’ industry experience. He has been running Line Industries since 2002 working with names such as Penguin Books, Pan Macmillan and Reckitt Benckiser. Prior to setting up Line Industries Jon worked as part of in-house teams and for leading design agencies with clients ranging from start-ups to PLCs.

Ceri Williams

Senior Software Developer
CeriAlthough there’s a geeky side to all of us, Ceri is the geekiest of us all. He gets his kicks from really thorough site testing. Ceri has been churning out software for years and is particularly proud of his skills on the Acorn Electron. However, after 12 years of industry experience, his favourite toys are ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server. Ceri helped to develop and maintain the registry operations for a top-level Internet domain. He’s also worked as a consultant with several global investment banks, not to mention his MSc in Computer Science.

Danielle Leitch

Senior Web Designer
DanielleOn the days when Danielle arrives without a cycling mishap, she designs smashing websites, writes super-clean CSS and takes a hard-line approach with Baloo (see below). Although her degree in Interactive Design is pretty handy, it’s the other degree, in Psychology and Neuroscience, that keeps us on the straight and narrow.

Baloo

Dog
BalooBaloo's a dog. What he lacks in experience, he makes up for in enthusiasm. Baloo joined Line Industries at eight weeks old, ensuring that, for those first few weeks, we mopped the office floor at least twelve times a day. If you’re visiting, you'll be pleased to know he’s grown out of that.

With 10 years industry experience Tim has an encyclopaedic knowledge of cross-browser testing and knows just what your website needs to not only keep up with the latest technology but also to make sure it'll hold up when tested against older browsers.  Needless to say, we trust him with writing solid, standards compliant code.

Greg Hannan

Front-End Web Developer
GregGreg always saw himself in a velvet jacket with a beard, covered in paint, battling with the angst of a fine artist. His geeky side eventually mingled with his creative side and these days he can be found elbow deep in PHP and CSS, attempting to get the perfect kern or, of course, angstily filling sketchbooks. Otherwise he enjoys throwing himself around to Brazilian martial arts, on his bike or at a gig of some sort.
