Where’s Yang Eating – Cat & Mutton

Being the only dog friendly gastro pub on Broadway market, the Cat & Mutton is a regular fixture in the busy schedule of Line Industries.

The pub itself consists of an open plan kitchen, large wooden tables and the menu written on a chalkboard. It is usually frequented by a vibrant mix of arty looking people with fancy hairdos and vintage clothing, although City type people do sometimes stop over to refuel on a Friday during their lunch time run along the Regents canal.

With the sun blasting down over the past few days, you might think why someone would still order a gritty Fish & Chips to go with a Ginger beer. Surprisingly, the perfectly battered fish melts effortlessly with a sprinkle of lemon. In combination with the thick cut chips, tartare sauce and mushy peas, this will guarantee at least a 40% productivity loss on a Friday afternoon.

If you are looking for a lighter alternative, you can also try the BLT or Steak salad, although the crayfish salad looks like a Singaporean starter and will leave you hungry unless accompanied by a side portion of chips.

Baloo certainly enjoys his 5 minutes of fame, being pampered by the waitress and other people.

If you happen to pop into the Cat any time soon, you can also visit us at Line Industries, for all your web, design and development needs.
