The Royal Academy of Arts and Metro Print

Project overview

In addition to Metro Print 's new site, which we had recently built, an extension was needed to promote The Eyewitness Photography Competition.  This competition is a collaboration between Metro Print and The Royal Academy of Arts and coincides with the launch of the Academy's exhibition Eyewitness: Hungarian Photography in the 20th Century – Brassaï, Capa, Kertész, Moholy-Nagy, Munkácsi. 

The competition is designed to encourage budding photographers to upload and share their images based on four separate categories: Street, Portrait, Fashion and Abstract photography.
 

 

We used some of our newly developed CMS plugins to allow users to be able to upload their entries and share it with their friends through social media.

Metro initially promoted the competition using our email marketing tool Mailoko as well as promotional activity in The Independent and through art establishments.
