....it's all been going on this week at Line Industries
The Workroom

The Workroom are a creative agency who provide answers to business and communication issues for their clients. They wanted a site that they could reactively update easily to show clients what they are currently up to and being inspired by.
We created a site that allowed them the option of switching between a wide range of colour options and being able to change this and the bold rollovers for the main menu on a regular basis, in-house. This allows them to concentrate on doing what they do best for their clients while keeping the site fresh and up to date.

Pan Macmillan

Hot on the heels of the Ken Follet page we designed for PanMacmillan earlier in the year we were delighted to work on our second takeover page for the publisher. Promoting the new Nelson Mandela book, this page aims to expose visitors to the new novel and encourage them to purchase, whilst at the same time not lose those people from the overall PanMacmillan site that aren’t interested in the book.
Creating this page brought with it a familiar problem we see every day on the web. We needed to showcase a large number of images in a gallery but didn't want users having to wait for them all to be downloaded before they viewed the page. To solve the problem, we created a custom jQuery gallery which only loads the main image when the associated thumbnail is clicked by the user.

Ladybird Books UK

Ladybird Books UK approached us as they wanted to increase user engagement with their audience. We designed and developed the ‘The Official Blog of Ladybird Books UK’ which launched last week. This showcases a great example of how to develop two-way interaction between their site and social network sites and encouraging interaction.

Cluffgold

We’ve been working with Cluff Gold to translate their new site designs into our content management system Publisite for their updated site launch. This now allows them to be able to keep their site up-to-date to inform investors about what’s going on at their three mines in Africa.

That's all for this week.
